Centennial, CO January 16 2004--Low Carb Connection, LLC, a specialty food store catering to diabetics, and individuals who follow low-carbohydrate diets, has opened its second location in the Denver Metro Area at 7500 South University in Dry Creek Center. Low Carb Connection carries a variety of products that allow dieters and diabetics as well as those with gestational diabetes to enjoy foods that would otherwise be ‘off-limits'.
"These stores provide the kind of variety that will help people stay on their diets. We carry candies, ice cream, breads, tortillas and even low carb milk," says owner Philly Cook, "The response to our first store was tremendous, so we opened a second one to save many of our customers a long trip."
In fact, many regular customers travel from as far as Wyoming and the western slope to stock up on foods that they cannot get locally or would have to otherwise pay shipping costs ordering on line. While established on the East and West Coasts, low-carbohydrate stores are relatively new to the Denver area and new customers are arriving from around the region almost every day.
Low Carb Connection's second store grand opening celebration is Saturday, January 17th at the Centennial location.
