March 30, 2004--This most highly anticipated ‘outdoor' Fashion Extravaganza hits the runway on July 31, 2004 on Union Square in San Francisco, California. This astounding and attractive central tourist location is the hottest real estate on the West Coast, and families travel from international countries to bask and relax around this historical area. From Saks Fifth Avenue to the infamous Cheesecake Factory to the Orpheum Theater, Union Square has made its mark as the location where the best names in Fashion, Dining and Theater have resided for over a hundred years. Union Square's most recent renovation and face-lift (photos attached), has raised the bar and set the standard for outdoor community fun. Where other venues fall short in attracting such traffic from sun-up to sundown the Square delivers.
This is not just another Fashion Show but rather it's a Fashion Explosion of the best in design wear as this show is acclaimed to be the ‘show stopper' in Fashion History. Models will ‘rip the runway' with style and energy and Media from Television to Print will be close to the ‘red roped' area to catch what is sure to be the Fashion event of the year.
This fund-raising benefit occasion is extremely important to the organization we have chosen. Hand-n-Hand New Media Fellowship is a New Media Internship/Mentorship Program, targeting Youth ages 13-18 in the entire San Francisco Bay Area. With the vast movement of technology today, HnHNMF will prepare youth far in advance of their college years, in the areas of Multimedia, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Audio and Video Production (using both streaming technology and traditional methods), music production workshops and web design.
